LobbyRanker Now Tracks 16 Regulated Markets — Here's What the Data Shows
When we launched LobbyRanker, we tracked 7 regulated markets: the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark, and Ontario. That gave us a strong European baseline — but iGaming is a global industry, and 7 markets only told part of the story.
Today we're announcing that LobbyRanker now tracks 16 regulated markets across three continents.

Why These Markets?
We selected markets based on three criteria: regulatory maturity, operator diversity, and strategic importance for providers. Italy and Portugal complete our Southern European coverage. Brazil and Colombia give us the two largest Latin American regulated markets. Romania, Greece, Czech Republic, and Bulgaria round out Central and Eastern Europe — a region where several providers have built their strongest footholds.
Key Cross-Market Findings
The first datasets across all 16 markets reveal patterns we couldn't see with only 7.
Regional specialists emerge. Markets like Romania and Bulgaria show higher representation from providers rarely seen in Western Europe. Local operators tend to feature a mix of global leaders (Pragmatic Play, NetEnt) and regional providers that cater to local player preferences.
Southern Europe: Italy, Portugal, Greece
Southern Europe is the most competitive region in our expanded dataset. Italy's ADM-regulated market has the deepest lobbies — operators like StarCasinò and Snai carry hundreds of games each. Portugal's SRIJ market is smaller but tightly regulated, with a strong showing from Pragmatic Play and Evolution. Greece, regulated by the HGC, features a mix of international operators and local brands, with Play'n GO performing particularly well in slot rankings.
Across all three markets, the pattern is consistent: Pragmatic Play leads in total game count, Evolution dominates live casino, and Play'n GO competes strongly for visibility in the slots category.
Latin America: Brazil and Colombia
Brazil's newly regulated market (under SPA-MF oversight) is already showing the signature patterns of a maturing iGaming ecosystem. Pragmatic Play has moved aggressively into Brazilian lobbies, and crash games — particularly Aviator and Spaceman — have outsized visibility compared to European markets.
Colombia, regulated by Coljuegos since 2016, is more established. The lobbies show a broader provider mix, with Pragmatic Play, Evolution, and Betsoft all competing for operator shelf space. Live casino penetration is lower than in Europe, but growing.
Central & Eastern Europe: Romania, Czech Republic, Bulgaria
Romania's ONJN-regulated market is one of the most active in our dataset. Operators like Superbet and Betano carry deep lobbies with strong representation from both global and regional providers. The Czech Republic, where online casino regulation was formalized in 2017, shows a preference for European slot providers — NetEnt and Play'n GO both perform well. Bulgaria's NRA-regulated market is smaller but competitive, with Pragmatic Play once again leading in game count.
What This Means for the Industry
With 16 markets in our dataset, LobbyRanker can now answer questions that were previously impossible:
- Which providers have true global reach? Not just presence in 2–3 markets, but consistent lobby placement across multiple continents.
- How do lobby compositions differ by region? Southern European lobbies look fundamentally different from Latin American ones — now we can quantify exactly how.
- Where are the expansion opportunities? Providers can identify markets where competitors have weak presence and operators can benchmark their game selection against regional leaders.
All 16 markets are now live on the LobbyRanker Dashboard. Filter by region, compare provider share across markets, and explore operator lobbies in every jurisdiction we track.
